For the fiscal quarter ended May 31, 2010, the Company had a net loss of $2.3 million, or $0.16 per share, compared to a net income of $1.0 million, or $0.06 per share for the fiscal quarter ended May 31, 2009. |
The net patient service revenues decreased by $8.1 million, or 62%, from $13.0 million for the quarter ended May 31, 2009 to $4.9 million for the quarter ended May 31, 2010 primarily due to a decrease in the overall number of cases in the current period. For the nine months ended May 31, 2010, the Company had a net loss of $6.5 million, or $0.44 per share, compared to a net income of $652,000, or $0.04 per share for the nine months ended May 31, 2009. The net patient service revenues decreased by $16.6 million, or 45%, from $36.7 million for the nine months ended May 31, 2009 to $20.1 million for the nine months ended May 31, 2010.
